Lauren Bates is a product leader and entrepreneur. She's currently at Float Financial, simplifying spending for companies and teams.A builder from the moment she picked up a piece of Lego, Lauren went on to study Applied Mathematics & Engineering at Queen's University (Kingston, ON Canada). She spent some time as a software engineer, before finding her sweet spot in product management. Her focus has always been data-driven product development, building products in mobile gaming, analytics, advertising, fintech, and corporate governance. At Koho, Canada's first digital-only bank, she led the company to public launch while earning an Apple App Store feature as one of the “Apps We Love”.
